Matt McLaughlin

Matt is an experienced education leader passionate about promoting the value and dignity of each individual, building positive relationships through community, and designing positive school cultures that improve student outcomes. This work has proven effects on teacher morale and retention, stronger home and school partnership, and growth in teaching and learning. Matt served in the Diocese of Raleigh Catholic schools for 15 years, and is currently Head of School at Kerr-Vance Academy.
 
Matt has a Bachelor's degree from Westminster College and a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Notre Dame. He finds joy in the joy of others, especially his wife and two daughters as they grow together as a family in Hillsborough, NC.
