What does it mean to listen the first time,how can we help memory and get students to emotionally regulate. Why is Mr. Rogers so important in our teaching? Learn what the brain likes best for maximum learning like schedules, eye focus, movement, and meta cognition. You will leave this session with usable ideas to implement in your classroom tomorrow.

Heidi will talk about the importance of the special's insights in better understanding the whole picture of the child, the power of linking the two curricula, and simple ways to develop a richer relationship between the specials curriculum and the academic curriculum.
